USA PATRIOT Act Certification

According to the USA PATRIOT Act and final rules issued by the U.S. Department of Treasury, a U.S. Bank or a U.S. Broker-Dealer in securities (a "Covered Financial Institution") is required to obtain certain information from "Foreign Banks" for which it maintains correspondent accounts in the United States.

As permitted by the final rules, HSBC Bank Canada has executed a Global Certification applicable to all correspondent accounts maintained for it by Covered Financial Institutions. Please use this Global Certification instead of asking HSBC Bank Canada to complete a separate certification form.
